Living Compassion in Challenging Times: Building Skills in Resilience and Connection (6wks)

The current social and political climate can make it feel difficult to find your center and get clear in regard to what’s going on in you. You may have wondered how you can engage in working on these challenges in a way that is empowered and effective – not motivated by fear, anger or judgment.

To successfully deal with the realities such as racial injustice, privilege, and environmental injustice, it is necessary to work on both individual and collective levels.

In Living Compassion in Challenging Times Robert Gonzales will support you to discover your most valuable resources by strengthening your inner presence, with compassion and vulnerability. This work will strengthen your skills to be more fully in relationship with all that life offers while allowing your heart to be moved by what’s alive in you and with others.

You’ll learn skills to:

  • Strengthen embodied awareness
  • Integrate inner and outer worlds to create a connecting “corridor”
  • Identify projected images that prevent connecting
  • Embrace fear and transform reactivity
  • Create a support network where you can express and be heard

You cultivate the consciousness necessary to move forward in these challenging times when you live from the inside out, instead of reacting from the outside in in managing your experience. This inner work empowers you to be in the world more fully and supports you in your relationship to all of life.
