Radical Gratitude: Nourishing Roots to Weather the Storms (4 wks)
ONLINE WEBINAR SERIES
Sundays, May 19, May 26, June 2, June 9.
11:00 am-12:15 pm, U.S. Pacific Standard Time
Gratitude has most often been discussed as a way to personal happiness and growth. Radical Gratitude affirms the need for the above-mentioned stance, and strives to take the idea deeper and wider, beyond the practice of writing three things to be grateful for, and exploring the qualities of gratitude that grow our capacities not just for happiness, but for resilience, solidarity, and groundedness, no matter the outer circumstance. This is not a gratitude that is a band-aid, a denial, an escape- but an intentional practice that supports our connectedness, our embodiment, our creativity, and capacity for struggle, and our empowerment.
This four-session weekly webinar series will offer new perspectives on gratitude, including:
- A model to inspire creative new personal and community practices for gratitude
- An exploration of gratitude practices for challenging times
- Gratitude as a grounding contemplative practice for activists and others concerned with social and environmental justice
