Vegan Permaculture Design Certificate Course, Somerset, Summer 2019 (2 x 5-days)
Do you seek to live compassionately without the unnecessary exploitation of people, animals and the environment? Are you concerned about climate change, peak oil and future generations? Are you interested in changing how we interact with other species, ecosystems and our human communities? Then this full permaculture design course is for you!
This course will be held over ten days (two blocks of 5 days) over the summer of 2019, and is suitable for all. The content will be covering universal permaculture ethics, principles and design methods, however please note that the focus will be on non-animal based and stock-free systems.
This is a full Permaculture Design Course accredited by the Permaculture Association GB.

Dates; 10 days in total (please note that you will need to complete both parts of the course in order to qualify for the Permaculture Design Certificate)
Part one: 20 – 24 July 2019 (5 days)
Part two: 10 – 14 August 2019 (5 days)
Venue; Brook End Land Learner Centre in Compton Dundon, near Glastonbury in Somerset, a 4 acre smallholding designed and managed on plant-based permaculture principles.
Accommodation; Camping at Brook End is included in the course price. There are compost toilets, hot showers and an accessible kitchen for in-between meals. There is also a working sauna! B&B accommodation is also available in the area.
Tutors; Graham Burnett, holder of the Diploma in Permaculture Design and author of Permaculture A Beginner’s Guide and the Vegan Book of Permacultureand Nicole Vosper, vegan organic grower, community organiser and permaculture practitioner based in Somerset.
Cost; £565 for 10 day course. There are also three 50% subsidised places and two expenses only places. Please contact us if you wish to apply for a subsidised/bursary place. Note that concessionary places are intended for those on low incomes who would otherwise be unable to afford to attend, so please only apply if you really need it. We would also ask you to read our article ‘Can’t Afford A Course?’ for other creative ideas for raising your fees such as crowdfunding, available grants, etc before applying for a subsidised place.
