Description:Â “The Vernal Education Project is a long-term effort to create a comprehensive education and support network that can bolster and sustain grassroots progressive social change movements in the United States. The project is described in the book Inciting Democracy: A Practical Proposal for Creating a Good Society by Randy Schutt. The project seeks to create a network of 50 educational centers around the United States, each of which would facilitate a 1-year program on social change for 120 students every year. The project is currently in the early development stages, focused on distributing Inciting Democracy and recruiting volunteer staffmembers.”
